Finding time to look good when balancing a busy lifestyle can be a little daunting — but it doesn't have to be. Use these quick tips and you'll be out the door looking better than ever.

Dry n' dash

If morning showers are your thing, but drying your hair isn't, fear not. There are several ways you can get your damp locks to perk up quickly. First, blot your hair with paper towels, or toilet paper.
After letting your hair air dry for ten minutes, use a Volumizing Spray, which coats the hair, protecting it from heat and sealing it, making it smoother and dryer faster.

Shake it

If you shower in the evening, twist hair up into a clip or loose bun, and shake it out when you wake up. Your hair will fall into soft waves that look like they took hours to perfect.

Do an at-home facial

All you need is one packet of unflavored gelatin and 1.5 tablespoons of milk, and you'll be seeing and feeling smoother skin immediately. After heating the gelatin and milk in the microwave for 10 seconds, apply the mixture to your face and wait 10-15 minutes before peeling it off. The mask works to exfoliate skin and shrink pores.

Grow nails long and strong

Wear gloves when washing dishes and avoid acetone to remove polish. Adding cuticle cream and extra moisturizer to your nail-area can will soften hands and promote nail-growth.

Hit the beach

Beach wave curls are a favorite among women, and they're surprisingly easy to create. Take any type of curling iron and begin at the ends of your hair, leaving the last one to two inches out of the iron. Twist your hair up to ear-level and release after 10-seconds.

Big Bun

Fake a thick bun by spritzing hair with texturizing spray while tousling. Brush hair back into a high pony, and secure with an elastic band. Then spend a few minutes teasing your hair. Smooth the ends of your teased hair, wrap into a bun, and then set with bobby pins. Finish by spraying hair spray and smoothing back any stray hairs with a brush.

Fishtail Braid

Second-day hair is a must for a fishtail braid, which saves you the time of jumping in the shower. Spritz hair with dry shampoo or texturizing spray, and then sweep all your hair to one side. Separate into two even sections; grab a thin strand from the outside of each section (make sure they're the same size), and pull them across so they intersect in the middle. Repeat until you've reached the end of your hair, and secure with a ponytail holder.

The Cure for Mani Mess-ups

When you’re giving yourself a manicure, paint the nails on your dominant hand first so that you don’t end up polishing with your weak side when it’s wet. Also, leave your thumbs for last so you can use them to clean up the other nails along the way. Take smudges off your thumbs when they’re dry with a cotton swab dipped in polish.

Erase Excess Nail Polish

You know that little bit of polish that never seems to budge when you're taking off bold nail colors? Well the secret to removing stubborn stains from nail crevices is a disposable mascara wand. Dip the tool in polish remover to really scrub away at the corners. Then once you're painted your new manicure, use an angled liner brush to clear mistakes.

Nail Polish Tip

Traditional wisdom states that the best way to revive old, clumpy nail polish is with polish remover. Not so. For a smoother, less streaky result, use a few drops of fresh clear polish instead. That will help thin the formula without separating it.
