Tools you'll need:
A basecoat
A brown nail polish
A gold glitter polish
A fast-drying topcoat
Tape
Directions:
1. Start with clean, dry nails. Apply a clear basecoat to protect your nails and let it dry.
2. Apply a coat of brown polish to all nails. Let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.
3. Take one piece of tape and place it on your nail at a slant. (Be sure to use the smooth edge of the tape, not the side with jagged edges where you tear it off the dispenser.)
4. Place another piece of tape on the other side of the nail, making a triangle shape. Repeat for all nails.
5. Apply a coat of glitter within the triangle-shaped space on your nails. Wait two minutes and apply another coat of glitter to each nail.
6. While the glitter polish is still wet, remove the tape gently, one side at a time. (If you wait until the glitter polish dries to remove the tape, you'll end up having to pull out the tape from under the dried glitter, which will cause the edges of the glitter triangle to look jagged and uneven.)
7. Wait two minutes to seal the design with a topcoat.
