1. Make the "black box" disappear
What might be considered to be the least expensive way to hide the TV is to not actually hide it at all but to make it blend into the background. Most TV sets are all-black so placing it on top of an all-black background, makes the TV disappear.
2. Use a curtain
If your television is located in a recessed area, consider hiding it behind a curtain or door. If the TV is in the bedroom, it's especially important to be able to get all distracting electronics and cords out of site when it's time to sleep.
3. Make tv look like another picture on the wall
When you place many pictures and artwork around the television, the TV ends up looking like just another image on the wall. It's an easy way to make the TV blend into surrounding artwork and works especially well in large rooms.
4. Close it off with doors
If your television is already located within a small recessed area, try hanging shutter-styled doors that can open and close easily. Much like bi-fold doors on a closet.
